JMIR AI receives an inaugural CiteScore and Q2 Placement

(June 10, 2025) JMIR Publications is excited to share that JMIR AI has received its first-ever Scopus CiteScore of 2.5, placing the journal in Q2 (68th percentile) in the Reviews and References (medical) category. This milestone reflects the journal’s early momentum and growing relevance at the intersection of artificial intelligence and digital health care.

Launched to serve as the primary forum for applied medical AI research, JMIR AI publishes work spanning structured and unstructured data, imaging, wearables, remote monitoring, and genomics. The journal emphasizes real-world implementation, methodological rigor, and the transparency of sharing data and code—advancing the field through reproducible and scalable innovations.

Congratulations to Co-Editors-in-Chief, Dr. Khaled El Emam and Dr. Bradley Malin, and to the Editorial board, authors, and reviewers, who have contributed to this achievement.
