Current Technological Advances in Dysphagia Screening: Systematic Scoping Review
Wang et al [82] suggested that a test sample size of 98 might be necessary for deep learning, as estimated based on statistical heuristics. Data augmentation and other techniques such as undersampling, penalization, and Monte Carlo simulation could be used to address class imbalance problem because of scarcity of patients with dysphagia in the dataset.
