Mobile Health Interventions for Modifying Indigenous Maternal and Child–Health Related Behaviors: Systematic Review

In addition, the Health Info Net website and reference lists of the included studies were hand-searched for relevant gray literature and any additional relevant studies respectively. The literature screening was performed using the Covidence systematic review software. After removing duplicate articles, the title and the abstract screen were performed by 1 reviewer per article (SI, OE, and AD).

Improving Systematic Review Updates With Natural Language Processing Through Abstract Component Classification and Selection: Algorithm Development and Validation

Improving Systematic Review Updates With Natural Language Processing Through Abstract Component Classification and Selection: Algorithm Development and Validation

Among the pretrained models implemented in this study, Bio Link BERT and Bio M-ELECTRA were the highest-performing models in the BLURB benchmark [18], which evaluates the performance of pretrained models in the biomedical literature. For each pretrained model, we fine-tuned 31 screening models corresponding to all possible combinations of the 5 components (Title, Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusion) and compared their performances.

Nursing Regulation Literature in Canada: Protocol for a Scoping Review

Nursing Regulation Literature in Canada: Protocol for a Scoping Review

Large-scale reviews conducted on the topic of health practitioner regulation provide a useful understanding of the current state of literature within a global context. For example, Browne et al [7] used a rapid evidence assessment to examine the international literature on health care and professional regulation.

Assessing the Readability of Online Patient Education Materials in Obstetrics and Gynecology Using Traditional Measures: Comparative Analysis and Limitations

Second (RQ2), we hypothesized that the PEMs would not follow the recommended guidelines of sixth-eighth–grade level readability (hypothesis 2) since literature of readability assessment has shown this trend. To test this hypothesis, the composite scores were used to generate both categorical and numerical data. The normality of the composite scores was examined using the Shapiro-Wilk test. The null hypothesis of this test is to assume that the population of data is normally distributed.

Spin is frequently found in the medical literature, regardless of study design, and its presence can affect the interpretation of results. A systematic review of 35 reports which investigated spin found that more than 56% of trials included spin in their abstract (n=13) and main text (n=16) and that 26.3% of systematic reviews (n=2) included spin in their main text [36].

The Use of Patient-Generated Health Data From Consumer-Grade Mobile Devices in Clinical Workflows: Protocol for a Systematic Review

The Use of Patient-Generated Health Data From Consumer-Grade Mobile Devices in Clinical Workflows: Protocol for a Systematic Review

Eligible studies will be identified through comprehensive literature searches conducted in the bibliographical databases that focus on health and biomedicine, information technology domains, or encompass journal articles and conference proceedings from multiple disciplines. The selected sources are Pub Med, ACM Digital Library (including the ACM Guide to Computing Literature), IEEE Xplore, and Scopus.

Critiques of such approaches have been described in the literature. Palayew et al [5] made the case for more training of peer reviewers before they are allowed to review in such short time frames to avoid weakening of scientific evidence.

Case-Finding Strategies for Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis: Protocol for a Scoping Review

Case-Finding Strategies for Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis: Protocol for a Scoping Review

We therefore aim to conduct a scoping review to chart existing literature on case finding for DR-TB and identify priority questions for a systematic review [7,8]. We will also describe existing strategies and how they fit into a model of case-finding pathways for drug-susceptible TB.
